Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. Reception staff made us a cappuccino on arrival as we were early for check in. Staff were excellent. Young lady at reception made us a cappuccino one night when sitting at a front table. So thoughtful very friendly. Very clean room.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Location was perfect for enjoying Fasnacht!

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Rooms are big and clean. Tourist card issued by the hotel was useful.

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! We appreciate all the advice from the receptionist and his generous and kind gesture of allowing us to check in 1 hour earlier. It is very much appreciated! We are very grateful! Such a customer-oriented approach, highlighted by the comfortable beds, soft bathrobes with slippers in the room, the wonderful view from the window, festive lanterns on the balcony railings, a view of the spectacular fireworks on New Year's Eve, an extremely delicious breakfast and friendly polite ladies in the restaurant every early morning- all of them made our stay in Hotel truly unforgettable. Euler Basel Hotel deserves 20 stars!

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Enjoyed staying here, it was very practical having the tramway direct to where I was going during my stay.
