The family-run Hotel Alpina right in the heart of the car-free resort of Mürren offers you a unique location and spectacular views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. Exceptional location, very close to the Mürren BLM station. Generous and varied breakfast served in a lounge with spectacular panoramic views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the three peaks: Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. The staff were very kind and empathetic in the face of an unexpected and very difficult health issue for us: from the receptionists to the waiters, everyone was very attentive and supportive. We hope to return to Mürren, and if rooms are available, we will stay at Hotel Alpina again. Thank you for everything.

Cosy and relaxed Eiger Guesthouse is located opposite the BLM train station in Mürren, with a splendid view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Mountains. The room was fantastic. The view was great. My children loved the bunkbeds.

I usually don’t write reviews for hotels, but this experience truly deserves recognition. Yannick went above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train. Hotel staff was friendly and understanding. Even though my English is not good, they always helped me in communication. I had two days like a dream. Thank you very much. Food and service were great. My room was clean and of very good quality. The view from my room was magnificent.

The 4-Star Hotel Victoria is situated 100 metres from the railway station in Meiringen. It features a large garden terrace and offers free entry to the Fitness and Wellness Centre in Meiringen. Such a wonderful hotel. Gorgeous rooms, delicious food, and the owner (Simon) was so friendly and kindly helped my husband and I set up our ski touring equipment in his downstairs workshop and even gave us tips on ski touring because he is an incredible athlete! We so appreciated all the attention to detail at his fabulous hotel - highly recommend.

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. We had a wonderful stay at the Grandhotel. The staff were all very nice and helpful, in particular Sebastian at reception. We stayed in one of the rooms at the front of the hotel with a small balcony and a spectacular view of Lake Brienz and the waterfall. The room was really clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious and well presented. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, with a lovely walk down to the lake, the funicular train, and several hikes around the waterfall. The outdoor pool area is also lovely, both for a swim and to sit down for a while. A wonderful, tranquil slice of heaven. Can't wait to return!

Built in 1881, the family-run Hotel Alpenrose is the oldest hotel in the car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train, and offers you completely renovated rooms in a traditional Alpine style and... This hotel has a wonderful, chill vibe nestled high in the mountains. Our room was excellent, and the views from the balcony were absolutely breathtaking. The staff were fantastic, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They even picked us up from the station when we arrived and dropped us off when we left, which made our stay even more convenient. My family and I had an amazing time. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious and definitely worth it. The overall atmosphere was so relaxing and enjoyable that we’re already planning to come back during the winter season. Highly recommended to friends and anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway!
