The wooden caracter of the house and the old history, I felt myself in a very cozy house. And The staff were so much welcoming very helpful for inside and outside of the hotel. The family-run Hotel Chalet Du Lac can be found in the charming village of Istelwald near Interlaken, right on the shore of Lake Brienz.

You park your car for free behind the hotel, choose from nicely furnished, comfortable rooms and start every day at the complimentary buffet breakfast. It’s hard to review this property because we want people to stay there so it stays open, but we also want to keep it a closely guarded secret as it’s just too special! The hotel is a typical Châlet style. Our room was very generously sized and we had the most exquisite view over the water. It’s not been decorated for a while, but that only adds to its charm. The restaurant on site was superb, we didn’t even think of eating anywhere else! We will be back.

The Rössli is a cosy, comfortably furnished hotel enjoying a quiet but central location with a magnificent view of the Jungfrau massif.

Among the hotel's facilities are a garden terrace, a sunbathing area and a cosy lounge, where you can enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff especially at the front desk and during the breakfast. They gave our sick child extra attention which was highly appreciated 🙏

This carefully renovated 4-star hotel next to the Japanese Gardens dates back to the 14th century. The rooms at Hotel Interlaken offer free wired and wireless internet access, cable TV, a safe, and a work desk. Breakfast was good, everything was clean and the positioning for us was great (walking distance of Interlaken Ost).
