Built in mid-18th century, the Hotel D'allèves offers a quiet location in the centre of Geneva. It is only 5 minutes' walk from the train station and 100 meters from Lake Geneva. Everything. The staff were so professional in answering queries in advance of my stay and everything was as requested. I have already booked to return again and have recommended it to a friend. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The room was perfect, exceptionally clean, quiet and the air con worked. Breakfast was also really lovely.

Had a beautiful display of wine and macaroons set up for our Anniversary when we arrived! We had an Incredible view! Room service was Amazing and quick and the food was Exceptional!

Renovated in September 2014, Auberge Communale de Carouge occupies a historic building in the centre of Carouge, 4 km from the centre of Geneva. It offers a restaurant and free WiFi access. Found the hotel with great ease off the number 18 tram. Nice spacious room, liked the clock wall art and the non formulaic style of hotel. A bit of history with the paintings on the corridor walls. Some good restaurants and bars in pleasant Carouge.

Opened in March 2014, Lake Geneva Hotel in Versoix is set on the lake shore and features a restaurant serving traditional and seasonal cuisine, as well as free WiFi access. The view of the lake over dinner on their patio was lovely. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were all very helpful. Convenient to bus and train. And a beautiful place to sit directly across the street from the hotel on the lake.

About 5 mins walk to airport bus stop and 1 minute to No 8 bus . Also getting a visitor's public transport pass which gave us access to free bus, tram and ferry trips. A great savings
