The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre. Hotel is located near to railway station, easy to reach. Very nice territory,with outdoor pool and ability to take sunbath between grape yards, if you are coming in the right season. Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. The hotel is in a perfect location--right on the lake--for exploring Lugano. It's only a short walk from the train station, so it was exceptionally convenient. The staff at the reception desk were very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is served in a beautiful room overlooking the lake with a full range of choices for breakfast. You can't go wrong booking this hotel. If we return to Lugano, the Walter will be our #1 choice.

Located 800 metres from the Lugano Exhibition Centre and 1 km from the lake, Hotel City Lugano is a modern, non-smoking building with stylish and air-conditioned rooms. Very comfortable stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet room with excellent shower. Nothing to complain about at all.

Benvenuti all'Hotel Gabbani, un'oasi di comfort e design situata nel cuore di Lugano, a Piazza Cioccaro. Beautiful place in the middle of the old town. Very friendly staff, great bathroom and delicious breakfast. Excellent restaurant. The stay came with entry coupons for an exclusive club and discount vouchers for their shop.
