Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. It was an exceptional experience. The hotel location is in Meggen 12 minutes away by bus to Central Lucern. The view, the cleanliness and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Miss Leean. Good food and breakfast The hostess was caering and attentive during all morning encounters. we enjoyed our time at the hotel. It is recommended if you don't mind the stairs.

The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake... The hotel had an elevator, very helpful since we were given room at 4th level. Location was pretty good, close to a lot of convenience - grocery, shops, restaurants and landmark/attractions. Bed was comfortable and room was huge! It had a small kitchen and private toilet.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Stunning location and views of the lake, mountains and town from our room (57). Gorgeous woodland walks on the doorstep. The hotel is beautiful throughout, beautifully decorated. Room had everything you need including free mini bar, Molton Brown products, robes etc. Large terrace. The funicular takes you down and up to the hotel for free. The one evening meal we ate in the bar was good. Breakfast was excellent and the service very good.

Great Location and access to transportation away from the busy atmosphere of Luzern. Rooms well appointed and comfortable beds. Breakfast included was perfect for us.

The Hotel Muenzgasse Luzern is located in the Old Town, 600 metres from the the Lucerne Train Station and Lake Lucerne and features city and river view rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available. Great location, easy self check in. Modern design of the room and very clean. The Parking garage is 2 min walking from the hotel and open 24 hr. costs 25 CHF.

The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne. Guests can enjoy a large lakeside lounge with direct lake access. The hotel is an older hotel and i believe family run. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. It is right on the lake and the lift to Mt. Rigi is a five minute walk behind the hotel. It was very relaxing being able to take the boat across the lake to Lucerne or other towns on the lake. the Lucerne train station is a two minute walk from the boat dock. They have the best WiFi we had the whole trip. the room was very large which a lot of Swiss hotels do not have large rooms.
