The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. We spent a week in the hotel in April. It is a beautiful property and a great base for walks to Hertenstein, Vitznau and to the cable car to mount Rigi. The hotel is near the ferry dock which provides an easy way to reach the many small pretty towns on the Lake Lucerne. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is simply delicious! It is a very good opportunity to sample local breads, cheeses and cold meat cuts, and the hostess will also cook eggs to your liking. Our room with the lake view was so pretty! Highly recommend the hotel.

The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake... Located close to most things. A 5-10 minute walk from the bus and trains stations.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The view from our room was amazing and we enjoyed the nice breakfast buffet in the morning.

Located 1 km away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 1 restaurant offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. Room was clean, location was good.

The Hotel Muenzgasse Luzern is located in the Old Town, 600 metres from the the Lucerne Train Station and Lake Lucerne and features city and river view rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available. Our room was on the third floor in one of there buildings, excellent room. Breakfast was very good with cheese, meats, fruits, yogurts and croissants.

The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne. Guests can enjoy a large lakeside lounge with direct lake access. Great location and staff! We have tried in Chalet (in Hotel) Traditional Fondue. Amazing quality.

The Seehotel Sternen is located in the heart of central Switzerland, right by the banks of Lake Lucerne in the picturesque Horw Bay, only a 5-minute drive from Lucerne. Awesome location. Just on the banks of Lake Luzern. The quiet neighbourhoods. And the friendly staffs were awesome. The room with a spectacular view of the Luzern lake and Mt. Pilatus.
