This place is very cosy. The neighbourhood is very quiet. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were very clean.

The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. We spent a week in the hotel in April. It is a beautiful property and a great base for walks to Hertenstein, Vitznau and to the cable car to mount Rigi. The hotel is near the ferry dock which provides an easy way to reach the many small pretty towns on the Lake Lucerne. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is simply delicious! It is a very good opportunity to sample local breads, cheeses and cold meat cuts, and the hostess will also cook eggs to your liking. Our room with the lake view was so pretty! Highly recommend the hotel.

The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake... Neat and clean, near by train station, and safety is really good.

The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne. Guests can enjoy a large lakeside lounge with direct lake access. Everything was fantastic. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful – always available and smiling. We also loved the food served on the beautiful terrace by the lake – it was truly superb. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is perfect, we visited Luzern and Mount Rigi, both are only 30 minutes away.
