So cozy and elegant! Close to the historic city center - it can be reached by bus (there's a nearby station) or easily by foot (around 10 - 15 minutes), but this place is also quiet and relaxing! The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake... It is located in the very center of the city close to all places of interest. A good accommodation, there is a small kitchen inside.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The room was exceptional with a stunning lake view. Lumieres restaurant was a great choice for dinner. Food was perfectly cooked and sweets are to die for.

Located 1 km away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 1 restaurant offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. This is such a hidden germ! The room we stayed in was fully renovated, with a nice balcony and a great view of the mountains. In general, we really appreciated the hospitality — the staff were very kind and welcoming and there were thoughtful touches like free coffee and water carafes in the communal area, as well as an “honesty bar.” After a long day of discovering beautiful Lucerne and its surroundings, you can try local beers in the garden under the shade of the trees (which seem to be frequented by locals as well.) The location is perfect as it’s very close to the city center (direct bus line, train stop 5 min walk away) but also gives easier access to Alpnachstad/mountains. We hope to be back!

The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne. Guests can enjoy a large lakeside lounge with direct lake access. The hotel is on the shore of the lake. The staff is helpful and attentive. The breakfast is good. Free parking area

The Seehotel Sternen is located in the heart of central Switzerland, right by the banks of Lake Lucerne in the picturesque Horw Bay, only a 5-minute drive from Lucerne. The property is at a quiet and pleasant bay around the corner of lake Lucerne. The hotel host is extremely friendly and nice, and provided good advice for our trip in the City. The room has a beautiful balcony facing the lake. The breakfast is of high standard.
