It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular. The host was amazing and gave us a lot of information. The room was spacious, clean and with a great view to the Matternhorn

Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. 1. Staff was really cordial and helpful. 2. Rooms were awesome. Views from room as well as from Guests common balcony were great 3. Picnic room enabled us to enjoy meal , tea coffee etc 4. Breakfast had limited variety, particularly for vegetarian but still was decent. 5. Location was incomparable . Two Bus stops were nearly ( five min walk). Main train and bus station was 10-12 min away. Staubbach fall was opposite the property. Overall top notch.

Every detail was taken care off - including refreshments, s backpack available in every room. Very good location, tastefully arranged rooms and common spaces, excellent breakfast, very nice employees.

WiFi in the entire building and transport from Zermatt Train Station from 07:00 o'clock to 21:00 o'clock are both offered for free. There is also an outdoor tennis court on site . All rooms are accessible with a lift or spiral stair. All rooms are equiped with TV, free wifi and with a hairdryer. The staff was incredibly friendly and responsive to all our requests. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The restaurant service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. The pizza, in particular, was outstanding! The room had everything we needed, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Once again, the staff was simply amazing, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!
