Our stay was perfect! The room we were staying at had a balcony facing the entrance to the hotel, with the windows closed, we could not hear any noise from outside. The breakfast was very good, quite an extensive spread. Some plus points, there are some guests lounge, with lots of teas and coffees, which we could also take up to our room. Also, a fully equipped “picnic room”, where we can have our take out food, and even a microwave oven to heat up the food. The picnic room is very cosy, and looks so pretty too! There was no TV in the room, but there’s one in one of the guests lounge.

The Hotel Daniela enjoys a very calm location in Zermatt, situated within a 10-minute walk from the cable cars and the train station. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. Nice and cozy, comfortable, accessible, clean.

The family-run Hotel Alpina right in the heart of the car-free resort of Mürren offers you a unique location and spectacular views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. Love the bed and pillows. Had 2 nights of good rest. Love the Mountain view from my balcony! Could see paragliders in close promixity! Breakfast was adequate.

Cosy and relaxed Eiger Guesthouse is located opposite the BLM train station in Mürren, with a splendid view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau Mountains. The homey atmosphere and amazing staff!

The family-run Bristol hotel is situated in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas. I really enjoyed my stay. Had Mountain view in my reservation but got upgraded to a double room, very spacious. And a large balcony where I took food back for dinner and just enjoyed the view. The hotel has a super spa: steam, ice, different saunas etc - which was included in the room. The staff was super nice and helpful also.
