Apparently the property has been owned by his family since it was built...1700s? -upgraded my room to #501...very top of the hotel and it was worth the small increase in rate -excellent restaurant -very good breakfast was included with a phenomenal view -bar provided whiskey tasting packages....great experience and the bar tender was very friendly and took time to explain whiskeys (not a whiskey drinker- wine!...but the experience was well worth it.. -Plan to return during the summer and do several weeks of hiking and use the hotel as my base

The stylish and elegant The Piz is located close to the centre of St. Moritz, 500 metres from the Signal Cable Car. It offers a pizzeria and free WiFi. Hotel Piz St. Moritz was very cool. Great vibe. We had dinner at the restaurant after cruising up to St. Moritz Center. Great Meal! The room was excellent. The bar was chic and hip. Need to spend more time down there! Great Reception Team!
