Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. I like everything here and plan to come back with my husband in April next year. The location is very good within five minutes walking from the train station to the hotel. Very easy to walk to any where as the hotel location is in the city center. Walking to the Lugano lake is about five minutes. Breakfast was good quality and variety. All staff i contact with were so friendly.

The hotel was about a ten minute walk from the railway station and the lake. It had a wonderful old world feel to it. The staff were most helpful and friendly. A superb breakfast was served.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. It offers a park with a pool, free WiFi and a limited number of free parking spaces. Everything. Didn’t get a chance to use pool but looked inviting! Breakfast was wonderful! Such a lovely place! Great. value! Woodsy with flowers too! Got a free upgrade in hotel! Very helpful!
