Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. Everything was wonderful! the hosts, the staff are very friendly, considerate and always ready to help :-)) The hotel itself is very nice and cosy, and it is located in a quiet area (which is important, especially in the evening). It takes only 7-8 minutes to walk to the railway station and the lake! Breakfast is really excellent, there is a selection of different kinds of food for any taste, I think :-) The wifi is a bit slow but it's not a problem.

We absolutely loved our stay! Gorgeous views, wonderful staff, and the food was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were large. We had a wonderful time.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Despite being a hostel near the train station, it was very nice and quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful. They will provide lockers, vending machines, coffee machine and plenty of space in the fridge as well as facilities to make your own food. And the location is amazing only 5min from train station.

The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre. Great hotel, very happy with this choice. Very helpful staff, beautiful facilities and nice breakfast location. Loved the pool area and gardens.

Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. The hotel location is wonderful we had a room with balcony the view was fantastic! Very clean room, bathroom needs a little updating, the breakfast was ok. Coffee available at reception was good!
