A cool and quirky hotel that has embraced modern technology. The keyless system is cool and the TV was all hooked up to streaming services. The whole place is covered in quirky artwork and the staff and breakfast were impeccable.

Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. Very friendly lady at reception. Helped me a great deal and told me things about my booking I did not know, including the complimentary bus/train pass, and also helped me acknowledge my silly mistake of thinking I had paid, when I thought I had already online but had not!

The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is located on the lake-side promenade of Ascona, 300 metres from the centre. It offers historic-style rooms and free internet access. Absolutely perfect. If you want to feel welcomed and relaxed- that’s the place. The receptionist was really nice, the room was clean and comfortable. The pool, the garden, the restaurant all perfect. I highly recommend.

Great facilities and location of hotel. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent with a huge variety. Room was very spacious and air conditioning was great.

Once a patrician residence built in the 18th century, the Hotel Tamaro can be found right on the banks of Lake Maggiore in the centre of Ascona. The hotel was really nice, the staff were super helpful & friendly. Location was great.
