We were greeted by Isabelle and Franzisca so warmly. They both have such a bright smile which made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Isabelle was so helpful to give us tips on our mountain trip. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The ceiling fan was a big bonus. The breakfast was also a plus, and the coffee was top! Location is also very convenient!

The property itself feels like something out of a fairy tale, perched on the hillside with breathtaking panoramic views over Lucerne, the lake, and the surrounding mountains. The building is steeped in history yet beautifully maintained, with interiors that combine elegance, charm, and comfort. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and professional, ensuring that every detail of my stay was perfect. From the seamless check-in to thoughtful touches in the room, their hospitality truly stood out. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean, with a balcony that offered spectacular sunrise and sunset views. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was an absolute delight. The cuisine was refined and flavorful, and the wine list was well-curated. Breakfast on the terrace with the view of Lucerne was the highlight of my mornings. In short, Château Gütsch is more than just a hotel, it’s an experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, luxurious, and memorable stay in Lucerne.
