Alma Hotel enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus stops. The location is amazing, a minute away from the lake and in the quiet part of the city center. The lady on the front desk was super friendly. We were there in the middle of the summer heatwave and we were offered refreshments, ice cream, she was even ready to try to find us some swimsuits so we can go swiming in the lake!

This is a charming hotel in an excellent location in the old town of Zurich. It's very well appointed and comfortable, the staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating with our early arrival. The breakfast was excellent. We were an extended family group covering 3 generations, and we were all very impressed with the Helmhaus.
