The Hotel Palacio Astoreca, located in a charming historic building from 1923, a few meters from the Paseo Yugoslavo and in front of the city's Museum of Fine Arts, offers elegant rooms in its four... Though there are three floors of rooms, the property has more of an intimate bed and breakfast feel while still highly attentive to all guests needs. They had beautiful breakfast spreads laid out, were extremely helpful in restaurant and activity recommendation - especially over the holidays with a lot of closures. The spa area was also a great feature. It's a great location at the top of uptown Valpo.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and preserved. The rooftop terrace and views are awesome. The attention to detail in the rooms and the common area was very high (we loved all the plants). It’s a historic building, so its quirks are also its charms. Breakfast was outstanding: various options, very well executed, excellent coffee. The owners are very nice, attentive, and helpful. The location is great, with lots of restaurants, bars, and sights within walking distance.
