The hotel was an ingenious combination of traditional and contemporary. Spotless! The food was super. People queuing up outside the restaurant! The staff were charming and poor not do enough for us!

What a great hotel. The location was perfect and the bungalow was clean and bright; however, the best part was the staff! Paula and her helpers made are stay so enjoyable that we plan to return with our kids and grandkids.

The hospitality and friendliness of Alejandra and her family was especially wonderful for me, as a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable and I could see the ocean, including New Year fireworks!

Set on Valparaiso’s Alegre Hill, a Unesco World Heritage Site, Casa Galos Hotel & Lofts has apartments with chic décor and views of Valparaiso’s picturesque hills. The staff are amazing. Our Spanish is very poor and we had no problem communicating at all. They had suggestions for eating, sightseeing, helped us with taking a bus to Santiago, etc. The breakfast was really good, lots of choices and eggs made for you. The room was very comfortable, with very little street noise even with the window open. My daughter also had a massage arranged by the hotel. She said it was great :) The location is very good, easy to walk anywhere.

Marcelo was a friendly and most helpful host, having lots of advice about the local area. The breakfast was also excellent with homemade breads and a great choice.
