The environment was amazing within the traditional Hutong. The staff was amazingly friendly and always ready to help. It made our trip much more pleasant and enjoyable. Will definitely stay again. The eco-friendly Brickyard Retreat at Mutianyu Great Wall Adjoin to Mutianyu Great Wall - Room with the View of Great Wall - Chinese massage experience - Vehicle Shuttle Service - International... We were so impressed by how gracious and helpful all the staff were. They treated us like family! We are American and speak very little Mandarin. But the staff responded immediately to messages in English, arranged a car from the train station, took us to and from the Great Wall, and even let us stay later in our room so we could freshen up before we left for Beijing. We will be back!
