Hotel Cote Cour Deductive Beijing - Quadrangle close to Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City & Nanluoguxiang, Walk to Wangfujing, English speaking, Free WiFi, Free Laundry, Free Wonton & Noodles with... It a super cozy hotel with character. Though location is not ideal, we didn't mind it because we wanted to experience staying in a chinese quadrangle courtyard property. We even found a really yummy Peking Duck Restaurant nearby. The service staff were amazing, and they did their best to serve and take care of their guests needs.

Ideally located in the embassy area, Holiday Inn Express is around a 15-minute walk from the popular Sanlitun Bar Street. It provides modern rooms with free internet. First of all, we arrived earlier than the check-in time, but the staff did their best to get us into an available room as soon as possible. One staff member told us that we could get our key cards in an hour, but after waiting about 1.5 hours with no update, I approached the front desk again and spoke to a different staff member. She helped us right away and finally gave us our room key cards. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. It was a special trip for my mom’s birthday. On her birthday, after we returned from the Great Wall, we were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine in our room. My mom was so touched that she wrote a thank-you letter herself! The breakfast was great, with many kinds of food to enjoy. The housekeeping lady was also very kind and made sure our room was clean and comfortable every day. Although the staff didn’t speak English, they were very willing to help and provided everything we needed. If we visit Beijing again, we would definitely stay here. The location is a bit of a downside, but it wasn’t a problem for us since we only traveled using the Didi app and didn’t use the subway or buses. Overall, it was worth the money!
