It has a wonderful sandy beach where you can snorkel. The staff make a huge effort to make you welcome. They set up dinner in a different location around the grounds every night. The food was delicious. There weren't too many choices, which meant that I don't think too much food was wasted. The Happy Hour bar is right on the waterfront where you can look at turtles and watch the sunset. The rooms are comfortable. and the hotel buildings are all attractive and spread out around the grounds. The highlight was definitely the location though, with palm trees and beautiful sea views everywhere you look. Jose on the boat ride over and back was very friendly and helpful.

Our stay at the hotel was worth every minute, from the boat ride from the dock to our return. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the food is very typical and delicious. If you are looking for a place to really disconnect, relax in front of the beach and enjoy the advantages of being on an island, Islas del Encanto is the place. Hotel San Pedro de Majagua is located in the Rosario Islands, within the Rosario and San Bernardo Corals National Natural Park, just 45 km from Cartagena de Indias. Lovely decor and gardens, magic spot, nicely appointed rooms, a real luxury feel, expensive but worth it. I also had an awesome massage in the spa.
