Located in central San Jose, Hotel Casa 69 offers a garden patio, free Wi-Fi in public areas and individually decorated rooms with cable TV. The National Museum is just a 10-minute walk away. They are just family, care about my safety,my meals, my connections with the local tour guides. What’s the most touching is that they always waited for my return at about 10:00pm when I came back from the day trip, and they helped me to buy the mosquito spray.

Terrazas de Golf Boutique Hotel offers direct access to Cariari Golf Course and transportation to Juan Santamaría International Airport, which is 5 km away. Close to the airport. We got an upgrade to a bigger room, very comfy bed, super clean. The owner is a very nice lady, she gave us advice on restaurants in the area and we got some chocolates from her. Breakfast was good

Hotel Aranjuez is an eco-friendly bed and breakfast hotel, hosted in five wooden houses built in the 30’s. It was cute and nostalgic, the staff were so friendly, they had locked parking We ate at the restaurant next door and the food was fabulous. The breakfast is included and it was a great spread form eggs any way you like to deserts and fresh fruit

Posada el Quijote is located in San José and housed in a colonial-style building. It has a spacious garden, free Wi-Fi access and a snack bar. Quiet place, not too far from the city center. If you're an animal lover (especially cats), this is the place to stay!

Apartotel La Sabana is located 1.5 km from central San José and offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access, breakfast included with the rate and an outdoor pool. We had great time in this hotel after very long flights from Europe. This is great place to relax after long journey and to fix things before tour around Costa Rica. Hotel itself offers nice and quite big swimmingpool, tasty and filling breakfast, and what was also very nice - there was continental breakfast buffet before the actual breakfast - that's a nice option for those who wake up early. Staff was very friendly and room very comfortable. There was Mobile Network office nearby so I could buy Costa Rican Sim Card and ATM to withdraw some cash. I find this hotel perfect to start a journey in Costa Rica. 2 nights is reasonable choice :-)

Very nice location We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner at the hotel The swimming pool, hot jacuzzi and gym is not too big but very lovely. We will recommended it to our friends and family!

Located in the centre of San José, Fleur de Lys offers individually decorated rooms set in a Victorian mansion. It features an attractive terrace, gardens and a restaurant. Looks great. Very clean and neat.

Featuring a rooftop swimming pool, Studio Hotel offers rooms with free high-speed WiFi and views of the surrounding Central Valley. The room was comfortable with good air-conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Of course, the art was enjoyable to see.
