This hotel is located in the Black Forest, 5 km south of the world-famous spa and casino town of Baden-Baden. It offers large rooms with a balcony. Beautifully designed property. Rooms are nicely decorated, small apartment rooms are perfect for families. Breakfast is the absolute best- best breakfast I’ve had in all of Europe! Everything is homemade and you can tell, it’s excellent. I came back a year and a half later just for the breakfast!

This hotel is situated in the district of Neuweier, amidst beautiful vineyard scenery near Baden Baden, in the heart of the northern and central Black Forest nature park. Everything was top notch - the amazing room design, the comfy bed, the gigantic bathtub, the blinds that make the room completely dark in the morning, the picturesque wine fields views from the room and balcony, the lovely staff that so warmly welcomed us and helped us with dedication to contact our car rental company, the included high quality breakfast that not only serves the basic stuff but also includes fresh vegetables, salmon and a real fried egg (a very uncommon thing to find in a free breakfast in eu/us)! It just feels that they thought about ALL the details to make this a perfect stay.

After a very warm welcome, we entered the apartments. They look even better than on the pictures, and have very nice ambiance, that perfectly matches the black forest. We had a 2 day stay only to visit the Rhine waterfalls in Schaffhaussen, Triberg and Feldberg (for some snow). The town nearby (900m) has a nice supermarket. Our host offered to bring fresh buns every morning, which is a good start of the day.

Hotel Café Adler 24h self check in is situated in Triberg in the picturesque Black Forest. The hotel offers a terrace and a restaurant. Very kind and helpful staff on side. Clean with super location. Rich variety and delicious breakfast plus the amazing cakes and pralines in the confectionery. We would return for sure.

The privately run Stadthotel Engel is centrally located in Ettlingen. The hotel is 8.8 km from Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre. I liked everything, from the warm welcome, to the comfort of my room. The carpark (which I had read was small and difficult to navigate) was simply normal, though I must admit visibility coming up out was somewhat restricted!. There are charging points for electric cars - which worked on my Chargemap card. The bed was comfortable in my room, and there is air-conditioning if you want it. Breakfast was ample and of an excellent standard. As I was travelling with my dog, they arranged a private corner to the side of the reception desk for me, which worked very well - thank you! Finally the wifi was very good, and the situation of the hotel is ideal for visiting this exceptionally beautiful little town. Very highly recommended.
