Just 1 km from the Playmobil Funpark, this stylish hotel opened in 2015 and is located in Oberasbach. It offers modern accommodation with free WiFi access and free on-site parking. Stayed for one night with my daughter after a trip to the Playmobil Park, an easy 15-20 walk away. Hotel staff excellent recommending local swimming pools and restaurants. Large room (2 single duvets on king size bed) with air con. Buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of options.

We were upgraded to a suite in the old hotel, full of character, but with modern bathroom. This historic 4-star hotel, situated in the heart of the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, right in the Frankenhöhe Nature Park, offers enchanting accommodation in a Gothic style. Management was very helpful in recommending activities and dining - I had such a great dinner at their recommended spot that we returned the next evening. The room was very unique, charming and comfortable - and the bathroom was fantastic, including the big bathtub! The daily breakfast was excellent and the location was spectacular!

This 3-star hotel is in a quiet side street in the historic town centre of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It offers a friendly family-run atmosphere and traditional Franconian cuisine. Even before arriving at the Hotel Sonne, the manager communicated with me as I have some medical issues, and he made accommodations to assist my wife and I. The Hotel is right in the middle of everything. The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you have a car, the garage is right around the corner and very easy to get to. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars service

Rothenburg of der Tauber is the most beautiful place to visit. The hotel offered everything we needed and more. The staff were very helpful.

Set in a 12th-Century building, this hotel offers spa facilities and elegant rooms overlooking gardens and the beautiful Tauber Valley. It stands on the edge of Rothenburg’s Medieval town centre. The property was incredible and in such a great location. The room was large, very clean, and had beautiful views. Otto checked us in and out and was an absolute delight. We were headed to Nuremberg next and he recommended we try the lebkuchen at the markets and we were so thankful for that recommendation - it was delicious!
