The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. This is easily the best stay we had on our entire trip. The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent, the property is conveniently located close to hiking trails and the village has a very relaxed feel. We will be back for longer. Highly recommended!

This family-run,eco-hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen offers great views of the Bavarian Alps, a spacious spa with beauty salon, and free WiFi. It is located in the pedestrian zone, just 600 metres from the train station. The room was exceptionally nice — comfortable bed, amazing shower, and a soothing view from the balcony, especially on a rainy day. We had a short stay to visit Eibsee and Zugspitze, and the hotel's location was convenient for public transportation and close to some great restaurants. The reception staff were also super helpful and welcoming.

The staff was awesome and did absolutely everything to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The breakfast was amazing: it included everything one could wish for and the service was top notch. Highly recommended: it is worth that little extra to reserve a suite, like the Sissy - it's unforgettable.
