Located in a former school building, the family-run Hotel Volkschule offers comfortable rooms in central Hamburg. Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel. Everything was great. The room, the breakfast, the shower the hospitality from the staff, the private parking and nearby public transport. We would definitely come back to this hotel again when visiting Hamburg. The decoration paying homage to the old school building also felt like a nice touch. They also had a bar downstairs you could use that seemed cozy, we didn't use it during our stay this time but would definitely do so next time.

The MADISON Hotel Hamburg is located in central Hamburg, just 200 metres from the St. Michaelis Church. It offers large studios, a stylish bar, and a restaurant serving international food. Really lovely place to stay. Super comfy beds! Friendly staff and handy to Hamburg's local attractions.

Centrally situated in a quiet side street, this 3-star superior hotel is located between the lively St. Pauli district and the Schanzenviertel district. Very comfortable family room with 2 double beds which was hard to find in Europe (most family rooms have a sofa bed or bunk beds) Hotel was on a quiet street even though it was a short walk away from Reeperbahn. Easily accessible by bus from the train station. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also fabulous - and included eggs to order. They offered us a complimentary drink in lieu of housekeeping which we opted for - and I had the best wine from Beaumont Family Wines - wines that they exclusively import to Germany, in their cozy dining area. The gentleman at the front desk whose name I now forget, suggested an Italian restaurant Giovanni right opposite the hotel, which was one of the best meals we had on our 21 day trip! Highly recommend. Absolutely delightful stay and I wish I could have stayed longer.

This hotel is centrally located in Hamburg. It is next door to the CHH Congress Centre and 600 metres from the Dammtor Train Station. The stay was excellent. The rooms are tidy and clean with a beautiful view from the 11th floor.

Located in Hamburg’s popular Schanze area, Fritz im Pyjama offers modern, bright rooms with free WiFi. Surrounded by cafés and bars, guests will also find free public parking nearby. Fabulous little hotel. Opposite a metro station on the U Bahn and S Bahn so very easy to get around the city - 15 minutes from hotel door to the water's edge. And the local area has tonnes of good restaurants and bars. Despite the location, it's really quiet, the windows are amazing. Comfy beds too. Oh, and if you tell them you don't want your room cleaning, you can take a beer from the mini bar for every day that's skipped!
