This hostel is located in the heart of Cologne’s trendy Belgian Quarter, 2 km from Cologne Cathedral and the Rhine Embankment. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft offers free Wi-Fi and design interiors. Really great place to stay. Not a party hostel, but not uptight either. Staff is great - helpful and accommodating. We met some great people just hanging out in the cafe area. Also a fun part of town, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and close enough to city center and attractions to be walkable. The room layouts are thoughtful and functional with top bunks sturdy enough to avoid waking those on the bottom bunks. Privacy curtains are always a plus. I would 100% stay here again, and I’d look forward it!

This 4-star hotel in Düsseldorf is a Victorian-style town house with garden. It offers spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, and varied breakfast buffets. The Königsallee shopping street is 3 km away. A fab and comfortable hotel with great staff. The location is great. We were given a free travel card to cover public transport costs during our stay which was a great unexpected bonus. You can get to the centre of the city on the tram very quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only note is that we hadn’t realised that having coffee brought to the room had a cost (no coffee in the room) but the coffee was delicious so we didn’t mind!

I chose the hotel after reading reviews online and a personal recommendation from friends. I must say that I was not wrong, I chose an amazing, excellent, clean, quiet, romantic hotel in an amazing location, very close to all the attractions in the city. Very close to the river, the restaurant and bar area, to Conissala Street. And in particular, very close to the carnival parade. After many years of staying in dozens of hotels around the world, the Hotel de Medici is one of the best, clean, luxurious, quiet and romantic hotels I have stayed in. Beyond all this, the value for money is excellent. The price is fair and very reasonable for the carnival period. The staff at the amazing hotel is helpful and very kind and polite.
