The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Warm welcome, well heated clean, spacious and comfortable room, good bed and extremely good breakfast including great coffee and fruit. Spacious parking for a big car.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. We had a wonderful stay, especially as a family! The hotel offers fantastic options for everyone — the pool, gym, sauna, mini golf, and theater kept us entertained, and the three included meals each day were delicious, with fresh natural juices in the morning being a highlight. The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

This family-run, 3-star hotel boasts a peaceful location right near Munich’s Oktoberfest site and excellent transport links to attractions including the Marienplatz square and Frauenkirche church. The hotel was very well-maintained and perfect for business needs. The meeting rooms were professional and fully equipped. The WiFi was fast and stable, which made it easy to work and attend meetings online. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Also, the breakfast was delicious and varied a great way to start the day.
