An excellent hotel located inside Rotenburg’s city walls. You will feel like if you were travelling through Rotenburg using the roman trade routes, while staying in a 5 star hotel. PS: breakfast is fantastic!

Hotel Maximilian’s is a historic hotel located in the heart of Augsburg, a 10-minute walk from the Fuggerei Museum. It features elegant rooms and suites and a restaurant with show kitchen. I absolutely liked everything. The bed could have been a little softer, but that is really down to personal preference. Staff was very accommodating, friendly and polite. Especially Luther could not do enough to make my stay pleasant. He is a credit to the Hotel. The room was a generous size, my request for parquet flooring could be accommodated (allergies), the bathroom offered all one could wish for and need, even a bathroom scale was thought of. Both room and bathroom were spotless. It is the little things, from parking my car, to delivery of my suitcases, to the turndown service and the unobtrusive attention of the staff that make this a wonderful hotel. This was not my first visit and it was as good as I remembered, if not better. This is how you run a hotel. I can only recommend and will stay again, if/when I am back in Augsburg.

This 3-star hotel is in a quiet side street in the historic town centre of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It offers a friendly family-run atmosphere and traditional Franconian cuisine. Providing us with various options of cold cuts and cheese, the breakfast was wonderful and delicious. The staff were friendly (and wore a friendly smile).

This historic hotel was built in 1264 and is located at the Markusturm tower in medieval Rothenburg. It features a traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi internet throughout the hotel. Set in a 12th-Century building, this hotel offers spa facilities and elegant rooms overlooking gardens and the beautiful Tauber Valley. It stands on the edge of Rothenburg’s Medieval town centre. Loved the location! only minutes of walking distance away from the old town of Rothenburg. Facilities were great, service was great, breakfast was amazing, very pleased with my stay.

This family-run hotel offers free WiFi in all areas and rooms with balconies overlooking the Allgäu Alps. It was the most satisfying hotel of my seven nights in southern Germany and I wanted to stay one more night, and the room was pretty and especially the elaborate breakfast was impressive. The yard next to the hotel is lovely, too. I really want to stay again when I come to Füssen.
