Set in a historic building in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, once home to a former president, the adult-only Casa Sanchez is within 1 minute's walk of Conde street. Loved this hotel in the Colonial Zone. It was walking distance to anywhere in the Zone. The staff went above and beyond to fulfill request and assist with transportation. The pool and jacuzzi area were lovely. The owners have done a wonderful job in the restoration. There are remnants of the historic building with all modern day facilities.

Handy efficiency gone the extramile to acomodate my personal needs and to make sure I enjoy my stay. Another super start was Aurelio from the guys helping with bags... He was also very helpful, friendlyl and a great listener! The Bed and the cleanness of the room 602 was fantastic! Right up to the level of class of the Hotel.

The location was perfect. We where there for a wedding and decided to spend the night instead of going back to the city.

This 16th-century converted convent is located in the historic Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Everything was amazing! Location, super old fashioned guest house and museum; lots of history! Rooms spacious and well maintained, bed super comfortable, pillows as well. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, such cute people! Breakfast is simple and tasty!
