El Lagar de Isilla is an exclusive hotel, set in the winery of the same name. Aimed especially at wine lovers, it features wine-making themed décor like barrel tables. Our eighth visit to this hotel on our way down and back from Southern Spain. On our return journey this year we had a wonderful room with a free standing bath. Every room here is a delight and a surprise. Comfortable lounge area and a cosy bar. Breakfast is great too.

Hotel Forum Evolución is a modern hotel located 100 metres from the Human Evolution Museum and Conference Centre. It has a wine-themed décor and related cosmetic products are available to purchase. Best value for money compared to most hotels in the city. Not that far from the city center, easily walkable. Parking fee is also the lowest than other hotels ask for and the parking garage is at the museum, lots of vacant spaces and quite secure. The breakfast was nice and you get more than what you pay for. Very happy with this hotel!

La Hacienda de mi Señor is located in Lerma, just off the A-1 Motorway and 20 minutes’ drive from Burgos. It has a charming lounge housed in the former wine cellar. Breakfast was excellent and staff very good. The location was great

Hostal riMboMbin is located in the heart of the historical and monumental city center of Burgos. It features air-conditioned rooms with modern design. Free Wi-Fi is available in all the areas. Very clean, comfortable room, had everything we needed. Comfy beds, good shower. Location in centre of town, but quiet. Great value for money.

This family-run hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool, indoor heated pool and rooms decorated by Pascua Ortega. Burgos is just 5 minutes’ drive away. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. More than beautiful hotel which is an old tower, amazing rooms with all the best facilities. The most beautiful swimming pool - gothic style! Great restaurant and bar where you can get all the meals, and a very cute store with their products. Free parking and right net to main roads. Ideally for a 1-night stay on the road and also to spend few days enjoying the hotel!

Hotel Via Gotica is 250 metres from Burgos Cathedral, just across the River Arlanzón. Most rooms have a private balcony with Cathedral views and free Wi-Fi. Location was perfect! 5 minute walk from Bus Station. Directly across from the Arco de Santa Maria and Burgos Cathedral. Breakfast/coffee were delicious. Great staff/service.

Hotel Montermoso is set just off the A1 Motorway, a 5-minute drive from Aranda de Duero. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, it offers modern rooms with a TV and free WiFi. Hotel near to highway, but still no disturbing noise. Plenty parkingspace. Spacy and comfortable beds. Very good when travelling with pets. Friendly and efficient staff. All good.
