The communication with the hotel was phenomenal. Great service, and Virginia even drove with us to make sure we got a good parking spot. We received a fantastic explanation of the surroundings and of good restaurants. It was really a great customer experience!! Virginia was the best; I highly recommend them!!

View from the rooms onto the square below is very nice. The rooms are clean, spacious and feel modern. I’ve heard the restaurant for the hotel is good but I didn’t dine there. I did have the continental breakfast which was good.

El Lagar de Isilla is an exclusive hotel, set in the winery of the same name. Aimed especially at wine lovers, it features wine-making themed décor like barrel tables. Our eighth visit to this hotel on our way down and back from Southern Spain. On our return journey this year we had a wonderful room with a free standing bath. Every room here is a delight and a surprise. Comfortable lounge area and a cosy bar. Breakfast is great too.
