Offering views of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains, Boutique Hotel El Olivar is set in the historic town of Mojacar, in front of the Arbollón Square. The beach is 5 minutes’ drive away. We had a very nice two day stay at the lovely Boutique Hotel El Oliver, a quaint and well run, family owned boutique hotel in old town Mojacar, with it's cobblestone streets and old town charm. The hotel owners (Alberto and Miki) are a delightful, hard-working young couple who clearly take pride in providing their guests a comfortable stay. The personalized rooftop breakfast was delicious, with poached eggs, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice, as well as many other options. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Our room had a balcony and, additionally, there is a rooftop patio with great views and an "honesty" bar. The location within the old town was perfect with easy access to the many restaurants and shops. For those who struggle with being at the beach or in quaint "old town", not to worry, as beach access is a pleasant 20 minute downhill walk OR you can catch the local bus for just over a Euro. My wife and I are in our 70's and the walk to the beach was an easy, pleasant walk and there are three buses per hour to return to old town. We arrived on motorcycles and were provided secure, underground parking under the hotel for a nominal charge. We will definitely return to Hotel El Oliver, next time we are visiting the area.

The patio was the best, the host was very kind and the location and value can't be beat for a short stay. We were pleasantly surprised, true gem for us. Right in the heart of it all. We never stay at Hostals, this changes our view of them.

Set within Almería’s Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, Tio Kiko is just 150 metres from Agua Amarga Beach. Each elegant, air-conditioned room includes a private hot tub, TV and a private balcony. Very good service. Great room with amazing views. Perfect location and really delicious cooking in the restaurant.

El Trebol is situated in Carboneras in Cabo de Gata Natural Park, 40 metres from the beach. The modern and elegant rooms feature air conditioning, a plasma TV and Wi-Fi connection. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much for them, they made our stay very comfortable, thank you. The room was also very spacious.

This peaceful accommodation is located just 150 metres from the beach in Agua Amarga, in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. It offers a spa and 2 outdoor pools surrounded by loungers. We had the most wonderful 2 night stay, (wish it was 2 weeks(👌 Our room was beautiful, huge bed & lovely linen & furnishings the bathroom was large with a whirlpool bath, lovely towel & bath robes 👌 Breakfast was amazing, so much choice & we sat in a beautiful setting by the pool & garden.😍 The hotel Spa was fantastic, the best we have ever had in a hotel 👌 The team of staff were all so professional, friendly & attentive, nothing was too much trouble👌 The first night we had a beautiful meal in the hotel restaurant next door, La Villa, wonderful food, surroundings, ambience & very professional & friendly attentive staff.😍 We will be back again😍

Located within the Cabo de Gata nature park, this typical rural hotel provides a charming and peaceful setting for your relaxing break in the sun. This place is absolutely incredible! The decoration is stunning, every detail is taken care of. The place has such a beautiful energy and is an oasis of peace. The breakfast is so delicious with plenty of home made options and the chef is so friendly; it is like eating at home! You can also book for dinner at the terrace and the set up is super romantic. During the night, you can see the stars so clearly. The rooms are very well equipped, the swimming pool is amazing and walking around the property and the common areas makes you never want to leave! We will be back for sure. We loved everything about it! It's unusual to find such gems and this is certainly a special one!

Located in the spectacular Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, 1 km from Agua Amarga, Real Agua Amarga La Joya is an adults-only hotel featuring a heated outdoor pool and panoramic views. Absolutely stunning location — the hotel is set on a hill, which brings a lovely breeze and beautiful views. The facilities are stylish and well-maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything feels thoughtfully designed. One of the biggest highlights for me was the pool being open 24/7 — I got to swim at sunrise, and it was magical. A perfect place to relax and recharge.

A fantastic place to stay, really beautiful grounds and rooms. Very spacious room and bathroom with lovely relaxing outside spaces. the gardens and pool are beuatiful. The breakfast good quality. Yvonne and Carsten were very attentive but not intrusive, they recommended places to eat and visit, several of which were fantastic. The sunset from the pool was stunning. I would highly recommend and would love to visit again.
