This was the BEST place we stayed while on the Camino! Absolutely stunning accommodations and the owner/host is super nice. Everything was clean, spacious, and provided a great atmosphere.

The room was clean and extremely suitable for a week stay for a couple. The hosts Jose & Iratxe were super warm and really nice people. They allowed us to choose a room as they had two options available. They also gave us amazing recommendations for food and bars. We felt really at home in this place and we will definitely be coming back again. Also the breakfast was super delicious. It’s a place that is run by a lovely couple and it shows.

It offers a beautiful setting ideal for hiking. one off the most luxurious accommodations w a deep bathtub and fluffy road. the bar and restaurant 3 minutes down the road also deserve a big shoutout

Featuring a restaurant and an outdoor pool set in 12,000 m² of gardens, Palación de Toñanes dates from 1703 and is located between Santillana del Mar and Comillas, 2 km from Cobreces Beach. A comfortable hotel in the countryside near Comillas with a large swimming pool and gardens to relax in. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant - the hake with a saffron sauce was recommended and didn't disappoint. Unrelated to the hotel, we loved El Capricho de Gaudi in Comillas. We booked on-line and paid for an excellent guided tour in English which at only 3€ extra was an absolute bargain.

Residence to the ‘Marquis of Santillana’ back in the 15th century, the building has now been carefully renovated into this delightful 5-star hotel. This is an incredible property. Building is circa 1500s and has been made into a wonderful hotel. Great ambiance and incredibly helpful staff.

This typically-Cantabrian hotel is surrounded by verdant lawns, just 300 metres from the bars, restaurants and shops of Suances, on Spain’s Green Coast. Suances Beach is 250 metres away. The property itself is beautiful, close to the beach with a short walk and easy access to main roads. The pool area is very relaxing for a drink or meal. Breakfast is fantastic and so is the staff.
