Situated right in the heart of Avilés' old town, Hotel Palacio de Aviles Affiliated by Melia is a tastefully converted, 17th-century palace. Featuring free Wi-Fi, it is located in Plaza de España. Breakfast was excellent, reception staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and cool, which was a lifesaver on these really hot days.

Casa del Pintor has a breathtaking view over the lovely Cudillero, its harbour and the sea. We enjoyed our stay very much, also thanks to the host. The host was very welcoming and helpful and gave very good tips for restaurants and other things you need as a traveller. She also told the story of the house (which belonged to a painter, and his paintings are still inside) and this gave the perfect frame for a great stay.

Hotel Rural Playa de Aguilar is located in Muros de Nalón, 1 km from Playa de Aguilar Beach. This charming hotel is set in a colonial house surrounded by gardens. Excellent food and accommodation. Very nice spacious room with terrace overlooking the garden. Efficient check in. Manager was helpful with lost bag after we left and checked with us to see it had actually turned up. He also suggested some stopping off points for our trip.

Offering sea views and rooms with free Wi-Fi, Hotel La Colina is set on the edge of Gijón’s Providencia Park. Set 5 km from the city centre, it is just 200 metres from Serín Beach. Everything. It was one of the most beautiful coastlines of Spain. The beds were comfy, the shower and bath wonderful and the staff so kind. They run a cafeteria as well and the food was great. Felt like we were getting home cooked meals. Alucia was incredibly helpful with directions to Gijon and where the best sites and typical food would be. We loved it and would come back again if ever in this part of the world.

Hotel Torre De Villademoros is a typical 18th-century country house by the Medieval Villademoros Tower, in the protected landscape of Entrecabos. Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous garden and cozy atmosphere in the room. Staff was wonderful and the restaurant and breakfast had fantastic options with lots of flavor!

Hotel Ribadesella Playa is a historic building set on the beach in the pretty Asturian town of Ribadesella. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi access. Rooms at the hotel have a minibar and central heating. Amazing hotel right next to the beach. Our stay was just perfect, from the cleanliness of the facilities to the location of the hotel and, of course, the staff. Such a lovely and welcoming experience thanks to the people working at the hotel (especially the lady whose dedication and care for the clients made us feel at home). Definitely recommend!
