This historic building is situated just 200 metres from Santiago Cathedral, by the San Miguel dos Agros Church. I got a lovely room with a balcony that could be opened, which was great because I injured my leg and had to stay inside more than planned. The staff was also very nice and provided me with ice and even checked on me when I went out.

Convento de San Benito is a restored convent, set in the pretty Galician fishing port of A Guarda. The spacious rooms all have a french balcony, a minibar and a safe. The reception staff were super welcoming and helpful, building is lovely and very historic, great location by the harbour . My room was very quiet and comfortable. Perfect Camino stay.
