It is a really charming and beautiful location in an even more beautiful little town. The owners have put a lot of thought and work into restoring a historical place while making it theirs and keeping it's origins. If you like the charm of history, cinema/ theater culture and a warm family environment then this is the place for you. Me and my wife had a really good time. As a last note, breakfast was exquisite!

Hotel La Capellanía is situated in the centre of San Asensio. This traditional Baroque house features ironwork from the 18th Century. Tours can be arranged to local wineries and monasteries. Carla and Mercedes were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The property is beautiful, and located right in the center of San Asensio near the main plaza. The breakfasts were generous and delicious. The room was enormous by Spanish standards, and well equipped. Great water pressure and the water was as hot as you wanted.
