Set in the impressive 16th-century San Marcos Monastery, the Parador de Turismo de León features antique furnishings and tapestries. The rooms include free Wi-Fi and a balcony. The building itself is stunning, and our room was large and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and well presented. We had dinner in the restauruant and both the food and the service were very good. Its a short walk into the old centre of town, and its at the start of a lovely walk by the river too. Lots of choices for breakfast including fresh fruit and cooked food. Highly recommend if you are staying in Leon and can afford the room rate.

However, this place is a gem if you have a car or bike. Exceptionally clean and well-maintained, the B and B is located in a quiet, quaint village a few miles from Astorga. An amazing price (70 Euros) for the quality of the facility and excellent breakfast. We also had an exceptional dinner at the restaurant just around the corner. Absolutely wonderful!

Plaza Mayor is set in the main square of the Medieval town of Villafranca de Bierzo, in the town centre. It offers functional rooms with free WiFi and a Smart TV in all rooms. This really felt like home. The staff were incredible, and the breakfast was really good. I love my room, which is very cozy and overlooked the old stone tile rooftops. It’s really well located and the owners are very friendly.

This charming mansion dates from the 18th century and is located in the medieval town of Villafranca del Bierzo, on the Camino de Santiago. A beautiful old building, room & bathroom very pleasant. Staff were great. On the Camino and literally only a short 2 min walk to the main square.
