Convento de San Benito is a restored convent, set in the pretty Galician fishing port of A Guarda. The spacious rooms all have a french balcony, a minibar and a safe. The reception staff were super welcoming and helpful, building is lovely and very historic, great location by the harbour . My room was very quiet and comfortable. Perfect Camino stay.

Our room (#10) was well appointed and overlooked the central fountain. Staff was helpful whenever we needed anything. It was very quiet during our two night stay. The grounds are very relaxing and pleasant. The breakfast was of very good quality.

Set next to Samil Beach, this family-run hotel has a garden with sun loungers, and offers air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. A welcome sight as I rolled in off the camino! An older property with all the new amenities. Love the stone architecture and character. Theresa was very sweet. The breakfast in the garden dining room was simple and more than ample.
