Featuring free Wi-Fi and an outdoor swimming pool, Resotel design hotel is located in Villares de la Reina and includes its own petrol station and 24-hour shop and café. Spotless, cat-friendly hotel with easy access from the motorway. The team is always friendly and helpful. We arrived too late to find a restaurant so chose some hot snacks. We were given table service with excellent beer.

Situated in the heart of Salamanca, only 65 metres from Plaza Mayor Square and a 20-minute walk from the main train station, Salamanca Suite Studios features a sun terrace with city views. Modern, clean and comfortable. Wonderful location in the city center a 2 minute walk from Plaza Mayor. There is no attached parking but a public lot is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There is an additional fee for parking. Restaurants,bars and shopping literally steps away. Comfortable mattress and pillows.

Facilities at Sercotel Puerta de la Catedral include free WiFi throughout the hotel. It is in the heart of the old town, on the same square as Salamanca’s Cathedrals. The location is excellent, the staff very helpful and the room big with great amenities. The breakfast also was great!

Eurostars Las Claras is in central Salamanca, just 7 minutes’ walk from the Cathedral and Plaza Mayor Square. It offers bright rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. We were travelling by car from Ciudad Rodrigo and wanted a central hotel with a private garage. The hotel satisfied both requirements, plus an excellent breakfast, nice decoration, VERY helpful receptionists and excellent wi-fi connection. Many hotels declare a parking facility and then direct us to a nearby public parking; this one has a private parking in the building, accessible through a lift (!!) where a Mercedes fits but if you drive a large American car you'd better check the lift dimensions. Coming from the bridge by car the hotel is 30 seconds away and easily accessible. From it you can walk to the Cathedral or to Plaza Mayor in 10-15 minutes. THE ROOM HAD A BATH TUB!! (plus the built-in shower, of course)

Everything was perfect about this trip, beautiful room which was great value for money, comfortable bed, friendly staff, secure parking…will recommend and return

Posada Real Castillo del Buen Amor is a 15th-century castle, set in the Castillian countryside. Extremely charming castle. The rooms have a castle-like feel, which is what I was looking for. I don’t want to enter a castle and have my room be like the Hilton. The castle is just amazing, as is the breakfast and dinner, abundant. A rustic feel, but so confortable and charming. And the different halls in the castle are decorated with the most amazing old furnishings and decorations. Many medieval-like places to hang out.

Featuring a spa, this 15th-Century palace has been beautifully restored into a luxury hotel. The team provided exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble. The michelin star restaurant provided exquisite intricate mouthwatering dishes. Service and wine pairing was excellent.

From the time we arrived, the staff, Carlos and Silvia, were amazing. Friendly and super helpful. When they saw we had lots of luggage they offered us a bigger room. The welcoming bottle of Cava and snacks were really appreciated. Carlos gave us advice regarding the places to visit and the restaurants to eat at. Breakfast was great . The room was wonderful and overall an exceptional visit. The best hotel we have ever stayed at.
