Recently restored boutique hotel from 1929, located on the beachfront in Bakio. Exquisite architecture with attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere. Our hotel has two pleasant terraces, one with sea views and the other sheltered by our ancient trees, where guests can rest and relax peacefully. The breakfast was very good and the location is beautiful.

Rooms at the Spirit Hotel Gran Bilbao feature colourful modern décor and wooden furniture. Each room has air conditioning and a large bathroom with a hairdryer. We had a lovely short stay at the Gran Bilbao Hotel, a very large room with a spacious bathroom (with separate shower and bathtub). The bed was very comfortable, sofa bed was also comfortable for a sofa bed! Leire at Front Desk was very informative and advised us to include the breakfast which was a great choice. We also had dinner, the waitresses were very friendly and accommodating as they were those for breakfast. By the way the breakfast has a great wide selection to choose from!

It was also across the road from the train station so we were in centre of Bilbao in 15 mins. Also located just off the motorway so very easy to find.
