Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. Uspenski Cathedral is a 10-minute walk away, while Helsinki Cathedral is found within 15 minutes' walk. Enjoyed the stay. Very unique experience. Food can be improved and add some variety in the breakfast. But it was still decent generous breakfast. Currently they have in Finnish, English and French food options in the breakfast. Room, bed and facilities are great. Very quite space. We choose to try the bath tub as it was a cold weekend in Helsinki. It was good but getting in and out can be dangerous/hard for some people especially old people. But over all experience was great. I would recommend anyone to go stay here. Also it is in walkable distance to the sea side where you can walk and relax.

Salpalinjan Hovi is set in a charming, renovated school building, 10 minutes’ drive from Lappeenranta city centre. It offers self-catering accommodation with classic décor, a kitchenette and private bathroom. WiFi and parking are free. Only few minutes by car from the center of Lappeenranta, quiet neighborhood, perfect for a rest. The house is beautifully renovated, has a unique charm. The breakfast was fabulous, plentiful. We will be back for a longer stay!

The service was outstanding as well; the staff made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit. We especially loved the combination of atmosphere, music, and tastes, which created a memorable and unique experience.

Scandinavian décor, a work desk and private bathroom with shower are standard at Hotel Korpilampi. Some rooms feature wooden floors. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. It was a slow time so able to chat. The location of the hotel is convenient to the airport as well as nuuksio national park. The area of the hotel, and views are beautiful. The hotel is exceptional in the amount of amenities available-sauna, pool, gym, dining room for breakfast and dinner. The dinner was very impressive and had wonderful vegan options. I felt compelled to personally compliment the chef.
