A luxury hotel set in a 19th-century private mansion in the heart of Bordeaux's historic centre, Yndo Hôtel features a fragrance garden and a shaded terrace, where guests can enjoy a chic yet restful... Staff were exceptional, so helpful, Nothing was too much trouble. Possibly one of most small boutique beautiful hotels we have stayed in, interior was wonderful. Breakfast was stunning and yummy.

The apartment is small but well equipped and comfortable, with good air conditioning. The location is simply *chef's kiss*. Loved opening the front windows onto the bustling, picturesque square (with live French music on market days), and the view of the cathedral from the bathroom window is spectacular. Although there's no parking at the property, it's easy to park for free nearby. And the town of Sarlat itself is magical – could have spent the whole week just exploring the buildings, shops and markets.

La Gomerie Chambres d'Hotes is a B&B located in the heart of the Saint-Emilion vineyards. Free WiFi access is available. We had such a lovely stay here. The hosts are wonderful and so helpful. They booked a tour at a nearby wine estate for us and even dropped us at Saint Emilion by car one time when we were tight on time for our dinner reservation. They also speak great English. The room was beautifully renovated and decorated, with a very personal and warm style. Loved the wallpaper. Everything super comfortable, great bathroom too with a huge shower. We enjoyed the location among the vineyards and an easy 20-30 walk through the fields to Saint Emilion. Coming to from or going to the station is about 50 minutes walk or you can take an Uber or taxi of course. We also saw a swimming pool in the yard that looked great but it was too cold to use it when we were there. Must be fun in summer. Breakfast was also great: croissants, pain au chocolat, sweet spreads, yoghurt with fruits, coffee or tea and juice. There are also some wines, beers, soft drinks that you can get from a fridge and pay for it as you check out, and there is a limited menu of evening snacks. So you could also stay in for dinner / snacks if you wanted to, or bring your own food to have it there.
