The hotel looks very nice. The staff was very supportive. Our room was very clean and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hôtel & Spa Le Bouclier D'or is located in the historic La Petite France district in a 16th Century building, a 5-minute walk from Strasbourg Cathedral. Centrally located in the old town, the hotel was charming and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful room and a lovely breakfast. The whole hotel was lovingly decorated in a christmas theme during our stay.

This chateau dating back from the 16th century, is surrounded by a park and located 40 km southwest of Strasbourg. It offers spacious individually decorated suites and a terrace. Château De Grunstein was a really pleasant surprise for us. At first, we booked it due to it's closeness to Strasbourg & Colmar. But, we could have stayed there just for the place itself! The room, the interior design, the staff... everything was amazing. I have to give credit to the amazing baker/cook who prepared the breakfast. She did a phenomenal job, everything tasted heavenly. Without doubt, one of the best breakfasts I had in Europe. Thanks again for this lovely weekend we got to spend there!

Just a few minutes from the historical centre of Strasbourg, halfway between the European Parliament and the central railway station, the hotel welcomes you in a warm and friendly setting. Staff are extremely friendly and considerate. I had missed my flight and had the booking details, my sister was at hotel and need to check in. They were very accommodating to my sister to make the process as smooth as possible for her. Also love the balcony. The view of street and church qas beautiful.

This hotel is located just across the River from the historic center, so all of Strasbourg’s attractions are close by. We were delighted by our spacious room; it was on the top floor, under the gabled roof, with big bed, big sofa, large bathroom, and lots of skylight windows. It was a bit like a nice city studio. The breakfast room is not terribly large, but the options were plenty and appropriate. The front desk staff were personable and helpful. Garage parking was available. A very comfortable hotel for a stay in Strasbourg.

Want to go back and enjoy a proper stay as this was a stopover between trains. Very close to the station a 10 minute walk that is level all the way. Great staff, we arrived late but check in was quick and efficient Excellent price extremely good value. Highly recommend this place for wheelchair users.
