This hotel is divided into 2 buildings from the 18th-century, a former school, from Napoleon III period. The location in the middle of the small village of Azay Le Rideau and close to the chateau is great. The staff, Thomas, Elisa and others are very helpful booking the restaurant for us and assisting. Their breakfast is very complete and a nice set-up. Restaurants nearby are charming. I had a tea break in the afternoon with my son at Biscuithé and it was awesome.

La Maison du Carroir is an elegant B&B located in central Blois, just 550 metres from Blois Castle. Very nice property. Very quiet. The train in the far, barely audibile with open windows, adds to the romance of this antique building. Nice decorations with children toys from the early last century. Great breakfast made with love. Please comply with published check-in times or inform the owner family.

Built in the 1830's, La Dixmeresse is located in Restigné and provides free WiFi access and free parking. It also features a private garden, terrace and a shared kitchen. Very warm and welcome owners. Every day give us advice what is worth to see, sharing their own maps of region. The building and room gives you a climate of this region, you can feel the history. You can taste local cheese and wines. Don't hesitate to go there!

The stay was absolutely fantastic, very nice host, the rooms were well set up and super clean perfect for a family stay, and the restaurant was a delight serving fresh local cuisine and not to forget very cosy breakfasts as well! Strongly recommended and hope to come back again with my family! Very easy access with parking and small garden perfect if you have little ones to run around😁😁

Located in Candé-sur-Beuvron, l’Auberge de la Caillère is 15 km from Blois and 20 km from the Château de Cheverny. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The restaurant (food & staff) is good! We were here for just one night on our way to southern France, but it instantly felt like holiday!

Located an 11-minute drive from Amboise and set in a property built in the 16th century, Château de Pintray offers an landscaped garden and a furnished terrace. Everything! So beautiful and homey.

Set in a 19th-Century historic mansion, La Maison Jules offers a living room with a fireplace, a garden and a terrace. My husband and I loved staying at La Maison Jules. It's a beautiful old estate home in the heart of Tours. We arrived early and Alexandra greeted us at the door and we visited for a bit before leaving our luggage and going out to explore the town. The restaurants and shops are all within a 5-15 minute walk. Alexandra recommended modest and delicious French restaurants for lunch and dinner. La Maison Jules is beautifully furnished and, without being fussy, there is a lot of attention to detail in the beautiful wallpaper, drapes, linens, comfortable furniture, and overall ambiance. Our bedroom overlooking the garden/courtyard was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a large window overlooking the property and included every modern amenity. Everything was sparkling clean. I wish we could have stayed longer and I would have enjoyed getting to know Alexandra better. She was a generous and thoughtful hostess who cares very much about providing hospitality for her guests. Although there is typically a breakfast included, we couldn't enjoy it because we had to leave at 6am. Instead Alexandra provided us fresh croissants, yogurt, and coffee. We were sorry to leave and hope to return.
