This hotel is divided into 2 buildings from the 18th-century, a former school, from Napoleon III period. Hôtel de Biencourt is located in Azay-le-Rideau, in the Parc naturel régional Loire-Anjou-Touraine. This is another place that rates quite high for my family, with 30 years of experience of traveling to Europe! The owner is phenomenal and warmly welcomed us when we arrived. As it was before our room was ready, we could leave our luggage at the property. Communication prior to arrival was excellent. The facilities, including our beautiful room and bathroom, are great. The breakfast room has plenty of options. The exterior courtyard was peaceful and charming. The location of the hotel is perfect, being a 1 minute walk to Chateau d'Azay-le-Rideau. The small village is serene and easy to explore during a short evening walk. We parked (2 nights) at the free spots in "Parking de La Passerelle", about 5 minutes away. There might be free overnight parking a bit closer at L'ilot d'Azay, but ask beforehand if it is free and legal. Definitely make Hotel de Biencourt your choice when in this part of France. You will not regret it!

Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above.

All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). Rooms with views of the river or castle are available upon request. Exceptional hotel. We liked it very much. Great location, great stuff!!

Hotel De France is located in the centre of Nantes, a 2-minute walk from the Theatre Graslin, the Passage Pommeraye and Place Royale. The interior is designed in a contemporary style to complement the architecture of the 18th-century lobby. Very nice hotel in the centre of Nantes. Position close to the opera theatre and to the main road toward Place Royal. You can go out and find everything you need. My room was the basic one and it was very comfortable and clean.

La Maison du Carroir is an elegant B&B located in central Blois, just 550 metres from Blois Castle. A homemade, continental breakfast is served every day, and the B&B features a terrace in the enclosed garden. The entire experience of staying at La Maison du Carroir was delightful. The bedroom was very comfortable, large and perfectly charming. Breakfast was spectacular!

Built in the 1830's, La Dixmeresse is located in Restigné and provides free WiFi access and free parking. It also features a private garden, terrace and a shared kitchen.

Each room here will provide you with a small seating area with a TV, a DVD player and CD player. They have a private bathroom with free toiletries. You can enjoy a garden or village view from the room. Everything! This is a true family-run hotel with an absolutely wonderful host. He was very kind, communicative and always available, he showed us the entire hotel, explained everything in detail, helped us choose a restaurant, and even booked it for us. The breakfast he prepared was simple but excellent. The hotel itself is spotless and well taken care of, with spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, beautiful bed linen, and a very well-equipped kitchen. In the evening you can enjoy a drink: beers, wines and other beverages are available at very fair prices, with a surprisingly wide selection of wines. You can truly feel how much care goes into this place. And as a funny side note: they also have an absolutely lovely dog
