Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above.

All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). Rooms with views of the river or castle are available upon request. Location: very convenient; just below the chateau. Staff: very friendly and helpful staff. The staff helped us to call taxi to Musee des blindes on the first day. On the second day, the staff also helped to offer us a ride to train station by private car. Since we did not have time for breakfast, staff gave us croissants for free!

The interior is designed in a contemporary style to complement the architecture of the 18th-century lobby. Nice and cosy room in the old building. Location is great, close to the Center full of Night Life.
