Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above. Location: very convenient; just below the chateau. Staff: very friendly and helpful staff. The staff helped us to call taxi to Musee des blindes on the first day. On the second day, the staff also helped to offer us a ride to train station by private car. Since we did not have time for breakfast, staff gave us croissants for free!

Hotel De France is located in the centre of Nantes, a 2-minute walk from the Theatre Graslin, the Passage Pommeraye and Place Royale. Nice and cosy room in the old building. Location is great, close to the Center full of Night Life.

Located in Candé-sur-Beuvron, l’Auberge de la Caillère is 15 km from Blois and 20 km from the Château de Cheverny. Very clean & quiet. Serene feeling. New, in excellent condition Staff very helpful, particularly Max & Clara. Big parking lot with 3 handicapped spaces. Tastefully done, overall. No real problems.
