This hotel is divided into 2 buildings from the 18th-century, a former school, from Napoleon III period. This is another place that rates quite high for my family, with 30 years of experience of traveling to Europe! The owner is phenomenal and warmly welcomed us when we arrived. As it was before our room was ready, we could leave our luggage at the property. Communication prior to arrival was excellent. The facilities, including our beautiful room and bathroom, are great. The breakfast room has plenty of options. The exterior courtyard was peaceful and charming. The location of the hotel is perfect, being a 1 minute walk to Chateau d'Azay-le-Rideau. The small village is serene and easy to explore during a short evening walk. We parked (2 nights) at the free spots in "Parking de La Passerelle", about 5 minutes away. There might be free overnight parking a bit closer at L'ilot d'Azay, but ask beforehand if it is free and legal. Definitely make Hotel de Biencourt your choice when in this part of France. You will not regret it!

Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above. Room, location, and people were all amazing. Definitely recommend.

Hotel De France is located in the centre of Nantes, a 2-minute walk from the Theatre Graslin, the Passage Pommeraye and Place Royale. A lovely city hotel right in the heart of Nantes. We enjoyed everything — the room, the breakfast, the location — but above all, the warm and consistently positive attitude of the reception staff truly stood out. A special thank you to Simon, who went above and beyond, from securing restaurant reservations to offering excellent sightseeing recommendations

La Maison du Carroir is an elegant B&B located in central Blois, just 550 metres from Blois Castle. Very nice property. Very quiet. The train in the far, barely audibile with open windows, adds to the romance of this antique building. Nice decorations with children toys from the early last century. Great breakfast made with love. Please comply with published check-in times or inform the owner family.

Built in the 1830's, La Dixmeresse is located in Restigné and provides free WiFi access and free parking. It also features a private garden, terrace and a shared kitchen. Everything. Beautifully decorated large French style room , great breakfast , hosts Charles and Geraldine gave us excellent advice re things to do and see in the area and were very personable . Would have loved to stay longer .

Set in a mansion built in 1860, Les Chambres de Mathilde is located in central Angers just 1 km from Château d’Angers and a 10-minute walk from Angers Saint-Laud Train Station. Cute cat, lovely garden, well-decorated and unique room. The breakfast was a typical French breakfast of croissants, bread, jam, and beverages. The B&B is centrally located and features a beautiful garden area. The whole experience feels like it reflects the personal tastes of the host and their desire to ensure a pleasant stay, and it doesn't feel "businessy" as some B&Bs do.

Breakfast was excellent, with Gavin and Lori very attentive, and the location was fine for our requirements, and close to restaurants and other amenities. The pool, and surrounding area, were very pleasant and the EV charger was an extra attraction.
